So the best I can do is, Blog on regardless.

A practical workshop on how to produce your own organic vegetables and fresh fish in one sustainable, closed-loop system, in your own backyard.
Organic vegetables can be grown highly efficiently while filtering nutrient rich pond water which contains a variety of aquatic life. Fish, yabbies, mussels etc grown in the closed system of aquaponics provide a renewable food source and are a fascinating and educational experience to watch grow.

Aquaponics Need Help

Ok so I am going to try my hand at Aquaponics. Im trying to do this as a self renewable system. So I can save the seeds from the grown plants and re-use them. I can also have a seperate tank for breeding more fish. So now I have to figure out a few other things

1. Food for the fish. how do I breed grubs, worms, blood worms, etc without soil?

2. How do I power my pump without electricity? Im thinking solar or wind.

3. Due to evaporation and plants using the water how do I replace it? I was thinking a few rain barrels, but if it doesnt rain for a while......? Guess where I suggested he comes...

The new gardening style with aquaponics

AQUA GARDENER: James Tinker built a greenhouse over the summer to house his breakthrough aquaponic system. Photo by Claire LaSure
It starts with some rocks. Then some water, fish and vegetable plants. They can go in barrels or tubs outside or in a greenhouse. An aquaponics garden is a growing system that may sound like an odd amalgam of natural ingredients, but they all add up to an efficient and tasty cropper’s dream. Take it from James Tinker, who has been gardening off and on for 30 years.

THE NOT SO GREAT DIVIDE

The divide between the rich and the poor, the haves and the have nots. Which side are you and I on.

Its not about sides. Its not a game. Its more about can you manage to feed, cloth and shelter yourself and your family.Which brings me to World Hunger and Poverty.

Acording to the Oxford Dictionary Hunger has three meanings:
  • The uneasy or painful sensation caused by want of food; craving appetite.
  • A strong desire or craving
  • The want or scarcity of food in a country
The third one is about world hunger and the reality is malnutrition or  a lack of some or all nutritional elements necessary for human health.
For those who dont know, Im 75 years old and I have had world poverty on my mind and heart for most of my life. But what can one person do to help, and does it really help. Well when I first got interested in Aquaponics it became clear to me immediately that this was one way people could be helped - if a better way of growing food was available, they could be helped. If there was a way of making it into a lean, mean, food machine.

Thats now the one way that I can see for me to be of value in this present world poverty struggle. To somehow make A/P available and workable for people where it is most needed. So to that end, this blog was created. Just simply to learn and to be an instrument in some way for people to help A/P to progress. For it to be developed. For people to have somewhere where any new concepts, any hints or ideas can be shown for the benefit of all who drop in here and somehow the word will get to the people who really need a better way to feed themselves and their families.

And so to work:

5 reasons why being homosexual is great

This blog will explain some great pros to being homosexual (for both men and women). Im not saying you should become homosexual, just taking some note.

So lets start with women. Why is it great to be a lesbian.
1) no crunchy towels - if you live in a house with a bunch of stupid men, you have probably encountered this once.

2) no facial shavings all over the sink - really guys...really

3) 90% of misses during urination eliminated - 90% cause I know some of you women still fail

4) Similar feelings - men can seem distant...cant they.

5) no accidental pregnancies - cause when youre a female you cant run from them without paying.

Now for men

1) no more bloody laundry or trash - man those nasty females

2) You dont have to run from crazy bitches cause of an accidental kid - damn those bitches

3) 90% of drain clogs are eliminated - unless you are dudes with long hair

4) same feelings - cause those damn women are from Venus

5) less or more private time - go ahead, pee with the door open

with that said...i have tumblr.

Time is a great teacher if only it didnt kill all the pupils

This morning started out pretty homosexual.

In the middle of class I realized my elbow was bleeding and was in mega pain...along with a pulled muscle in my leg.

So I waddled back to the cafe....and felt a little bleh...really sick. Thim enrolled in classes. Turns out the English class I want is already full and I cant even enroll till the 11th.

I went with Taylor to wal mart. Felt waaay better to get some sun...but went home and died. He bought me a burger from McDonalds...possible contributer?

Then I walked back tot he bus stop...where some asian dude was yelling random things at me and took food from this guy.

ugh...now Im back and I think people are gonna make me move. =[

Well Justin P. brought doughnuts and they were yummy. Thanks Justin!!!!

Richard Trenton Chase why you should research where you live if youre paranoid

Why you should always check out the history of a place youre going to move...if you dwell on the past.

Chase is a vampire, cannibal, homicidal dude that was...well crazy.
What got me interested in this guy was the fact that he attended American River College where I go.

From Wiki (cause Im lazy)

Richard Trenton Chase (May 23, 1950 – December 26, 1980) was an American serial killer who killed six people in the span of a month in Sacramento, California. He was nicknamed "The Vampire of Sacramento" because he drank his victims blood and cannibalized their remains. He did this as part of a delusion that he needed to prevent Nazis from turning his blood into powder via poison they had planted beneath his soap dish.

You can find a million things on him. Whats interesting? We (we being a friend and I...mostly her) found where he lived.

The book (The Dracula Killer by Lt. Ray Biondi and Walt Hecox) does not give a specific address of his apartment but does give a pretty clear description. His apartment was on Watt Avenue, apartment 15 one block east of 2909 Burnece Street.
*non wiki source*

Well later on the page said what apartments but we found them ourselves.

Ok Ok...which apartments you ask?

Country Club Apartment homes.
2928 Watt Ave
Sacramento, CA

please do not spam them. Giving out all this info is probably illegal. Besides, its not their fault and by the looks of it, they have remodeled.

Its almost like my old friends house. Someone was shot and killed in there. They didnt mind. In fact they found the bullet hole and just hung a picture over it (you know who you are)

Also means that you shouldnt go mapping the addresses of the homes of his victims either.

Herring Gut students learn from experience
by Alexandria Brasili
School of Roots students with harvested greens. L-R: Kyle, Tyler, Jack, Savanah Photo: Alexandria Brasili
Its a cold winter day in Port Clyde. While all is quiet and snowy outside, inside Herring Gut Learning Center its a completely different story. Students dart back and forth in rubber boots and aprons with baskets of fish and clipboards, yelling out weights and quantities in order to determine tank stocking densities. The group shrieks as a fish flops out of a basket and onto the floor. One brave student cups the fish under the belly and over the nose, a handy technique for ensuring that the fish doesnt wiggle out onto the floor again. Meanwhile, students in the greenhouse work in t-shirts, planting and harvesting crisp heads of bright green Bibb lettuce while snow gently falls outside.

How does it work? A very organic process recycles the fish excrement into plant fertilizer and as the plants grow they
